When our spring was cut short by covid, the coaches quickly jumped into action to save the fall season. The team reconstituted as a small boat rowing program independent of DCPS which was unable to offer fall sports. We rented 18 “small boats” (singles, doubles, and pairs) so our athletes could continue rowing following USRowing and DC government guidelines. The team also taught 30 new freshman boys and girls how to row! This was made possible by the athletes and families – as well as the broader DC Community that has been so generous over our 35 year history.
